MPP Lisa Gretzky congratulates Chrysler Canada on 100 years in Windsor

WINDSOR – Shadow Minister for Children, Community, and Social Services, Lisa Gretzky (Windsor West), is congratulating Chrysler Canada on celebrating 100 years in Windsor, marking a major milestone for a company that has helped shape the city’s identity and economic future.

“I want to extend a warm congratulations to everyone at Chrysler Canada on reaching 100 years in the city. What an incredible achievement rooted right here in our community,” said Gretzky. “This legacy is about more than just manufacturing. It’s about the generations of families in our community who have built their lives through good, unionized jobs in the auto sector.

“Now more than ever, in the face of trade threats and economic uncertainty coming from South of the border, we need the Government to step up and protect Windsor jobs. That means working with industry and workers to strengthen our local supply chains, accelerate EV investment, and make sure that Windsor remains a global leader in auto manufacturing.

“As we celebrate this century-long legacy, we must also look ahead. Chrysler’s success is Windsor’s success.”
